I've used IMMS (http://www.luminal.org/wiki/index.php/IMMS/IMMS) with XMMS
at work for a number of years now and really like the unintrusive way it
learns my listening habbits. It also tracks additional information such as
BPM and frequency spectrum which it uses to determine how to best shuffle
the playlists.

I believe it's setup as a generic plugin that perhaps TrackStat could take
advantage of. If not, maybe TrackStat can rely on some of the same
libraries IMMS uses for it's extra collection data points.

Anyway, just a suggestion if you hadn't heard of this before as I feel it
would bring even more value to an already awesome plugin.

Yes. I was always a fan of IMMS. I really miss it on the squeezebox. TrackStat 
and
SQL Playlist allowed me to build similar behavior. But it would be nice to take 
it
some steps further.
