I updated the EEP with most of the suggestions. Some questions that are still open:

Should we allow maps:iterator(), given it's part of the standard library, not language
Should we allow generator-udates M#{K => V || K := V <- MM}
Should we allow map-returning expressions #{make_map(K, V) || K := V <- M}

Hey, is there any chance this get any traction? I'm afraid there is not so much time left to squeeze this feature in OTP-25

This feature will not make it into OTP 25. The OTP team will take a deeper look after the OTP 25 release (May 2022) and decide if it can be introduced in OTP 26.
