Unresponsive touchpad gestures #1

Environment

Distro: Fedora 34 Gnome: 40.3.0

Description

After pressing alt+tab, the three-finger Gnome touchpad gesture to swap between workspaces no longer works until you click.

Reproduce

  1. Press alt+tab
  2. Place 3 fingers on your touchpad, and swipe left/right/up. Notice the 3 finger gesture fails
  3. Click anywhere on screen
  4. Retry the 3 finger gesture. Notice it works

At the moment, I can't see anything that causes this behavior. The way gsettings is being used is correct, feel free to share ideas.
