I couldn't found the culprit even tried both version aur and cloned from git as well. Same issue debug log and issue- https://imgur.com/a/05xPxQL

Hey thanks for commenting /usr/share/backgrounds only contains image files (.jpgs and .pngs)

Almost the same, but I get this issue after opening background settings in the greeter. To fix it:

  1. Check read permissions. All background files must have read permission for all (owner, group, public). Also, check this.
  2. Background naming. Avoid all types of brackets in your filenames. It is better to name files with english letters and numbers without spaces.
