iOS 18 Bluetooth Privacy - bluetooth not found. #1

It appears that with iOS 18 I can no longer discover my remote control. Have you tried this? I wonder if there is a simple solution. Great work BTW.

It seems that for some reason the advertised BLE characteristics are no longer recognized by iOS...I was able to pair the to esp32 by first using a Bluetooth scanning app (LightBlue) and pairing the device from the app...then after paired the esp32 was able to connect.
