We would eventually like to push the GRAFS algorithm (see #2) back to the official qutip-qtrl repository so that it can be included in future releases of QuTip. This will require comprehensive testing in line with the current tests of existing functionality. I can see at least two or three steps here:
Understand how QuTip currently designs tests and how comprehensive they are (see GRAPE tests)
Create a test or suite of tests for GRAFS in line with existing tests
Run GRAFS test(s) under different conditions to ensure robustness (Linux, Mac, Windows, CPU only, GPU if supported, etc.)
