Did Touchégg work in your previous OS version? Is your trackpad in the
supported hardware list?

Touchegg did work on Ubuntu 11.10 32bit, running Cinnamon. On the Apple Magic
Trackpad.
I just installed Ubuntu 12.04 32bit, also running Cinnamon. Tried the default
touchegg.conf and the custom one I was using before.
On command line it does register the input:
[+] Unknown gesture:
Name -> "n/a"
Number of fingers-> 3
[+] Unknown gesture:
Name -> "n/a"
Number of fingers-> 4
[+] Unknown gesture:
Name -> "n/a"
Number of fingers-> 4
I will check configurations everywhere to see if I missed anything.
