Actions Updates and Fixes

This pull request does the following:

Fixes a syntax error in the .github/workflows/post2slack.yml workflow
Updates formatting
Updates Actions SHA versions
Pins a few Actions that were unsafely pinned to @master
Swaps out the "json check" workflow to a new Action that I built 🤷 which is more performant 😉
