Week 2 - Get Familiar with Machine Learning for Chemistry

• [x] Select a model from the list suggested in GitBook
• [x] Download and serve the model via the Ersilia Model Hub to ensure it works
• [ ] Open a repository on your GitHub user with all the necessary files
• [ ] Select and clean a dataset of 1000 molecules (example notebook 1)
• [ ] Run predictions for the molecules on the selected model and evaluate the results

Week 3 - Validate a Model in the Wild

• [ ] Find a suitable dataset with sufficient experimental results
• [ ] Clean and standardize the dataset
• [ ] Run predictions and calculate metrics.

Week 4 - Prepare your final application

• [ ] Submit the final application in the Outreachy website

I'm reaching out to express my genuine interest in contributing to Ersilia's inspiring mission of leveraging AI/ML tools to bolster research capabilities for infectious and neglected diseases. The work you do resonates deeply with me Because i have deep interest into the Biological Science and i love to built some in this field to help people around the world , and I'm very happy to become part of your community.

My background in Data structures , Programming and machine Learning, acquired through both academic studies and practical projects, has equipped me with the skills to make meaningful impact within Ersilia. Recently i have developed the Disease Prediction Application using Real patient data and AI/ML . Where patient can check their Heart and Diabetes Disease by putting their Report Parameters. From utilizing Neural network and Random forest Classifier algorithm . I've gained a solid understanding of deep learning and neural networks.

As my purpose and interest are in building something using Biology and technology which help billion of people around the world that ignites my passion to leverage my skills for societal good . I am committed to continuous learning and active engagement , seeing the Ersilia internship as a prime opportunity to further develop my technical skills , gain real-world ML experience , and contribute to global health initiative .

During the internship, I'll dive deep into Ersilia's projects, working closely with the team to solve challenges and improve models. After the internship, I plan to use the skills learned at Ersilia to make a positive impact beyond healthcare using machine learning. In conclusion, I bring ambition, diligence, and a quick-learning mindset to the table. With my technical qualifications and unwavering dedication.

Did you register your contribution before the project closed to new applicants? we are currently not accepting new applications as we already have many strong candidates and I did not see your application. The project closed on March 12 to new applications

No I have not registered before 12 March. Because i don't know about that project closed on 12 march. I thought that the last deadline is 2nd April because it was mentioned on the outreachey website.

The contribution period is open until April 2nd but communities can close their project to new contributors if they already have many strong applicants, so that contributors can look for communities who are still looking for new applicants. Unfortunately we already have many strong applicants so I strongly suggest you focus your effort on a community who might still be looking for new contributors
