Problem calculating DevStd for Burned or reflective Image #257

Hi,
i have a problem with StdDev function and "Burned" or "Reflective" Image. I use
this function to calculate the point of focus for images captured with a
camera.
When the image is burned or reflecting the values of standard deviation,
moving the optical device that adjusts the focus, taking contrasting values
of the area burned because that changes its size.
n general, when the image is focused by the standard deviation has the highest
value. With these images does not work that way. It seems that the object
reflecting increases reflecting the area and damaging the calculation of
standard deviation.

I attach 3 images:
- First image on Focus with STdDev = 110
- Second Image Stddev = 114
- Third Image Sttdev = 141

Thanks and Best Regards
Andrew

Is it a question or a bug report?

If it is a question, then the ticket will rejected. The tracking system is
aimed for bug reports and feature requests. It not for discussions. There is a
forum for this.

If it a bug request, then it is missing information. What is the version of the
framework in use? How do you calculate std.dev.?
