Not sure how well it would work, but a website where you could just input an arbitrary git repo an get the stats.

kangax commented 11 years ago

and then set up git hook for that repo to see history of reports, regressions, pull requests complexity, etc. :)

jsoverson commented 11 years ago

@kangax got me thinking about that after he posted about code climate some time back. I've thought about the stack and the necessities for it and I don't think it would be hard.

If you have any clever names, feel free to contribute ideas. Plato as a service name doesn't really fit.

+1 that'd be awesome.

Opened an issue on complexityReport to consider a joint org that could help this get onto jscomplexity.org

Hi! I have created plato-as-service - this is web service based on plato and Github. Please take a look maybe it will fit your expectations.

Unfortunately I don't have any room to run it. But I think, that nodejitsu can lend us some space.

jsoverson commented 10 years ago

Wow, that's awesome @azproduction. Nodejitsu would be a good option. I've been putting together an interactive tool for platojs.org, but it sounds like this might be better usage of the domain. I'm on a train right now, but will check this out more asap.

davidlinse commented 10 years ago

wow, that sounds great.. any room for contribution?

jsoverson commented 10 years ago

@azproduction @davidlinse if there's interest in active work on this, I can add you both to the es-analysis org and start including you on discussions re:v2.

azproduction commented 10 years ago

I'm up. I can transfer plato-as-service to es-analysis as well.

passcod commented 10 years ago

If nodejitsu doesn't, I'd be happy to host this, at least until it runs my server over.
