Postponed due to out of memory error: continuing with #298

Reconfiguration at least via http is not working for me atm. Going on a bug hunt. Will try to automate corresponding integration tests alongside. Will post update/notes here.

[ ] there's bitfiles mentioning ids (IDBitFiles) in the bitfiles scripts folder. Are those using skeleton version 01 or 02?
Check IDBitfiles with skelver 01 and env5.1 (env5 revision 1)

fixes a bug in the usb protocol implementation that broke usb bit stream flashing

postponed for now since #306 fixes the bug in usb protocol that was preventing bitstream updates via usb.
