the pygmo package provides the python bindings, pagmo only provides the c++ lib
Do you mean that python can only install pygmo?
something like that
$ conda list pagmo
# packages in environment at /home/jian/miniconda3/envs/fermi3ml:
#
# Name Version Build Channel
pagmo 2.18.0 h5141cbb_4 conda-forge
$ conda list pygmo
# packages in environment at /home/jian/miniconda3/envs/fermi3ml:
#
# Name Version Build Channel
pygmo 2.18.0 py39h485931b_1 conda-forge
Strangely, I used the command to display the installation, but I got an error when I executed
>>> import pagmo
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pagmo'
>>>
import pygmo
@jschueller Thank you. I have successfully installed and run well.
Hello all, Use conda to install
pagmo
pagmo-devel
, and I useconda list pagmo
command appears as follows:Source code for installation
Does this mean that the installation was successful? Strangely, an error is reported when I use
python - c "import pagmo"
Does this indicate that I have successfully installed! Note: System: Linux DESKTOP-10UCA6U 5.10.102.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2 #1 SMP Wed Mar 2 00:30:59 UTC 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Env: Conda virtual environment python v3.7.12 ,pip v22.2.2
