Merge Patterns: Creates a new pattern containing a combination of the selected patterns,
and replaces the Orders of the selected patterns with one referring to the new pattern.
The new, merged pattern is equivalent to the selection's first pattern with every other
selected pattern appended (increasing the row length accordingly).

And / or sample panning randomizing, and resonance randomizing?

I don’t know who the question was directed at, but there are quite a few features from mpt that I think would really improve the workflow in renoise. The main ones I can think of right now are:

• [ ] Quick copy buffer (basically a separate clipboard that works per row, and is updated whenever new data is entered on a field, similar to enter/spacebar behavior in Impulse Tracker)
• [ ] Shortcuts for scrolling the whole pattern view left and right via keyboard
• [X] Mute that works across all selected tracks
• [ ] Solo that works across all selected tracks <- API limitations
• [ ] Shortcut for writing a note off in all selected tracks
• [ ] Insert and delete rows across all selected tracks and/or across all patterns (as in having the option of pushing/pulling data from the entire song)
• [ ] Mix paste shortcuts
• [ ] Ability to use the OS’ key repeat delay (Idk if it will ever be possible to change, but the fixed repeat rate in renoise really slows me down)
• [ ] Shortcuts for moving to next/previous track that respects which sub row you are currently in (like alt + left/right in IT)
