[Sample Recorder] Create a new sample on each take (drumkit style) #629

There is no existing function to provide a sample slot for each recording, so it would be useful to have. I noticed this feature when I looked at the workflow of transposing samples as drum kits in relation to hip-hop productions such as MPC and E-mu SP-1200.

Is it possible to do the following with the API? If so, it would certainly help.

  • When the Sample Recorder is showing, add a sample and then start recording
  • When recording is complete, activate Keyzones > Drum Kit.

"Activate Keyzones > Drumkit" is not api controllable, @tkna91 - please request it on the forum
