fyears commented 10 years ago

I am using windows 8.1 x64 with visual studio 2008 professonal installed.

I am using python 2.7.5 and pip 1.4.1 . scipy and numpy have been installed.

After I ran pip install pymaclab or pip install pymaclab=0.95.9 (they should be equivalent), I got errors.

Here is pip.log:

I have a similar error with Ubuntu 14.04. I was not able to install it via pip in two different machines.

I have just updated the code base of pymaclab and the setup.py file in order to pull in the latest dependencies. I managed to install this on Linux Mint okay. But please read the INSTALL.txt file to make sure you have other dependencies manually installed using apt-get
