It would be good to structure the presentation(s) around the key takeaways we want people to have. As far as possible, these should be clear, opinionated and "practical". The rest of the slides can explain the relevant theory and any disclaimers etc, but ultimately we want people to come away with certain explicit messages in mind to recall later.
We have essentially done this now, by structuring the slides around 3 key questions (in each slide deck) and then recapping the key take-home messages on the final slide.
