  • software repository -> upload, readme, license, citation.cff (point to license and citation story)
  • tag/version, semantic versioning
  • DOI -> zenodo or something specific to your domain/language/type of software (point to citation story),
  • Registries, RSD, domain specific, awesomelist etc (findability)
  • Packaging, (reusability)
  • Software paper/peer review (only about the software) JOSS, CRAN
• When to do each step?
• Automated publishing (including live demo)
