Is Version 4.4 still supported? Does it make sense to set up on this version, or is it advisable to upgrade, especially if this version was implemented years ago?
I find it extremely challenging to perform the implementation because mapping the individual components from XML to SDS is extremely difficult. Are there any visual examples available? Otherwise, I perceive it as a huge effort to understand and implement.
Support for 4.4 ended in 2021. As recent legal updates are not covered in this version, the latest SDSs may have data that cannot be represented in this version, and I strongly recomment to jump on 5.4.1 for any new implementation. Future changes will be minor compared to the move from 4.x to 5.x, so you will be saving maintenance effort too.
Sounds like we should talk. We are still lacking examples that are good to share as a tutorial, but the XML structure and field names match the SDS structure and naming conventions in most cases, and I am willing to help with your questions. Please contact me if you are interested.
