As a registered user, I can send messages to other users.

Should then be translated into email. I can send someone an email without knowing their address.

Uh, can you give a link to the user's profile in the mail? Like

A sends B: "Hi"

B receives mail: "Hi from: B"

should be feasible, but only if the user receiving the message is logged in (at least for now)
