+1 for this. Virtual desktops are quite useless in the current state imho. It woult be great to be able to switch to a different desktop/tag/workspace on one screen while leaving the other screen as is. E.g switching between a desktop with an editor and one with some other tool on screen 1 while leaving a pdf reader open at all times on screen two.
This wouldnt be a Krohnkite, but a KDE Plasma feature, I suggest looging at KDEs discourse and bugtracker
Would it be possible to have indipendent virtual desktops like dwm does with multiple monitors?
Doing some research kwin doesn't really allow this and it would be necessary to manually applications from one monitor's desktop to desktop you're switching to, but that would result in many other problems.
Maybe it'd be possible to implement a stack of applications per monitor and assign them each to a virtual desktop but I'm not familiar with kwin and don't know if it's possible.
