Enabling Krohnkite on the Fedora 34 KDE spin does nothing. #170

Setup: Fedora 34 KDE flavour Dual screen, with "separate screen focus" multiscreen behaviour. Krohnkite GUI-configuration enabled and visible under KWin Scripts .

I can't get krohnkite to work at all. I disabled/re-enabled it loads of times, as well as just completely reinstalling it. I tried different composition settings too, but no matter what, I just can't get krohnkite to tile my windows. None of the default keybindings do anything, despite being properly configured. Are there any logs I can provide to pinpoint the issue? Sorry in advance for the very vague description and lack of information, but I don't know what to show.

Try to switch to kde/x11 when you login, kde as of v34 wil chose wayland as the default display server.

When i tried kde/wayland, Krohnkite wasn't working

thank you for the answer! I will definitely try running it on x11 and report back. Logout was also working very buggy with wayland, so I guess X11 is my only choice now

Well, this solved it, looks like krohnkite and wayland don't play nicely together. Hopefully it's something wayland can fix in the future!

This issue should be closed for now, I think, just to not contribute to the pool of open issues
