10px bug in the gaps #89

Symptom When I set the gaps in Geometry section all to 10px, and then open Desktop Grid, the windows doesn't show up in screen. Here is more details: https://old.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/grbd2s/compositor_is_giving_me_issues_a_lot_maybe/

How to Reproduce

  1. Open Krohnkite settings.
  2. Go to Geometry section.
  3. Set Screen gaps and gaps between tiles to 10px, open Desktop Grid and see windows disappear as shown in the video from above link.

Expected behavior It should show the windows when Desktop grid is opened.

Environment

That's really weird. 10px is the exact number I use, and never had this problem.

I suggest enabling debug output. It should not do anything (thus not print anything) while entering the desktop grid, since the effect is processes completely on the compositor side.

Also, you can try disabling the script (in "KWin Scripts") before entering the grid, to see if the script is causing this.

Disabling cause desktop grid to work properly. Kwin Logs Video

I started the record just before running kwin.
