This happens only when run from the .dmg file. Which is read only. A further discussion is needed to decide either: A the app should not have a system configuration panel but an in app ctrl + , entry only, or B use a system panel but then the app is being loaded via launchd (which implies to create a .pkg installer instead of only a .app)
