Hi Grizzly,
My clients report that McAfee On-Access Scan is blocking the following files as
Trojans:
- log2del.exe (4 instances) listed as containing Artemis!FDE29A1DFD6B
- docfolders.exe listed as containing Artemis!E260...
- autoinstall.exe listed as containing Artemis!C1BF...
I'm pretty sure these are false positives, but still it would be great if we
can avoid such situations in the future. Let me know if there is any way that
I can help.
RHH

Yes this a known issue. I've replaced the above with NSI code within the
relevant packages. Only 1-2 Autoit scripts are left so the changes for this
repeating is greatly reduced.

Cool, thanks! You folks have been working on a very valuable project and could
probably ask for PSF funding for it too, since it promotes wider usage of
Python by making a scientific computing environment easy to install on Windows
(which, by the way, I do not use but many people I work with do and having
something like PythonXY makes it a lot easier to persuade them to switch to
using Python).

Hi, I just wanted to know if there is an estimated release date for 2.7.2.4
that addresses the anti-virus false alarm issue and whether there is anything I
can do to help.
