Fixed a bug for which standalone component compilation will not copy the binaries to the toplevel bin folder

@MiguelAndresMartinez did you bump the patch version number? If yes, this can go in, if not, you would need to run bumpversion patch in the top level directory. That'll update the version number in all the correct places and make a new tag.
