@t4k totally. Right! Thanks 👍 just did so.

We are working on making that documentation better and it will take me some time to get there. The reason we moved it from 9001 to 9000 was to allow a better Developer experience regarding file mapping in D8 and the local environment.

I also just merged https://github.com/esmero/archipelago-aws-demo/pull/5 It has some minor extras on the readmen file on updating on deployed instances.I will bring those to archipelago.nyc docs today too

and finally, this part here:

https://github.com/esmero/archipelago-aws-demo/pull/4#issue-271072997

Which explains how to deploy a set of demo metadata displays that go with the configured field formatters there. One for IIIF manifests (used by the bookreader) and some display ones.

If you are already deploying to test this, please follow those lines. We will be integrating that whole procedure into a drush script soon, but for now you can execute those curl commands and get a similar experience.

Also, if you want some 1:1 time on Archipelago and what it really does, let me know, happy to chat

Thanks @DiegoPino! I had enough free time today to spin up what you have so far, just to see what it's like. The Islandora stack has been giving me headaches this week :P

I'll take a look at the newer things you just pointed to, and I'll post on the group when I might have some time to chat to learn even more.
