On a Netshell Karaf, based on Karaf 3.0.6, keyboard echoing behaves strangely. Printable characters echo correctly, but backspaces and other control characters seem not to be emitted or don't make it to the pty, causing odd artifacts. An easy way to test this is to type some text and to backspace over the last few characters. The input line looks garbled, but is actually intact when passed to the Netshell CLI parser.
It's 100% reproducible on the one Karaf where I have observed this. One notable difference from ther containers I have constructed previously is that it's based on Karaf 3.0.6. This fact might be significant.
