What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. std::string content = "<kml></kml>";
2. kmldom::KmlPtr kml = kmldom::AsKml(kmldom::Parse(content, &errors));
3. cout << kmldom::SerializeRaw(kml);

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected: <kml></kml>
I see: <kml/>

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 0.4, linux gcc
