It seems like the BBcode plugin now adds an extra line break after a code box; this is something new in G5 that it wasn't doing in G4. It's pretty much an aesthetic issue (it makes posts with many code boxes take up more screen space than they should), so unless it's a very quick fix, please don't worry too much about it.

Looking at the source, it seems there's more to this issue than just an extra line break. There's also a closing paragraph tag with no opening tag to match.
