V1.0(8): can no longer save the altered speech rate in the app so VoiceOver remains unaffected #27

I just installed eSpeakNG V1.0(8), and noticed that the app, upon exit, will revert to its default "175 speech rate". That is, if I alter the rate to 450, close the app via the Task Manager and restart it, the rate will revert to 175. So the app's speaking rate will no longer influence VoiceOver's speaking rate - unlike previous builds. This is means that I can no longer utilize the app's 450 speaking rate to resolve VoiceOver's 75%-and-higher clicking issue. @djphoenix FYI, I've added Persian both as an eSpeak language and as a VoiceOver Rotor language.

Hm, it is synced for me. For sure, it may require to restart VoiceOver after change, but changes made in app are saved between app restarts and shared with VoiceOver.

@djphoenix You are right. The trick, however, is to turn off and on VoiceOver, inside the eSpeakNG app, as soon as we alter the speaking rate. That way, the new speaking rate will be saved and used by VoiceOver. So I'm closing this.

I mean not VoiceOver, but other apps like Mudlet with the speak plugin for macOS, it’s the most affected app.
