so, xcode probably was released along with ventura, any progress on this?
Ventura is released but Xcode is still RC2.
Xcode 14.1 released right now. MacOS version coming tomorrow.
Yay!
macOS version is uploaded to TestFlight and awaiting review. It will be available at same link as iOS version.
@djphoenix is it only for m1?
Both Intel and ARM
I just downloaded the latest TestFlight beta with possible Mac support, but I cannot seem to get it to work. I have tried rebooting and restarting VoiceOver. I do not get ESpeak entries in either the voice popup button or the manage voices dialog. It actually stopped working for me on iOS as well, though it did take a while to show up after first install too so I'm not too worried.
if both apps are avaliable on the same testflight url. how to know wich are wich
I think that TestFlight will prefer macOS version over "universal" in that case.
either the app are not aproved yet.. i dont see it
Can confirm, not working on mac OS. TestFlight is preferring to download the Apple Silicon only version, which I imagine is the iOS version, and no voices show up to VoiceOver or the speech settings in System Settings.
Still "waiting for beta review", be patient, we are all waiting for this.
@djphoenix Aha, sorry about that. I did not know.
@djphoenix is the app stillwaiting for review?
On a review right now. Should be available in next hours, if it passed.
works fine on mac
@mjonsson1986 glad to hear!
Unfortunately seems like not for everyone, I have some reports that something goes wrong.
Anyway that issues is out of scope. Since macOS testflight is public available now, I close this one.
MacOS port is now in progress, it works as standalone app, but VoiceOver support will be added as XCode 14.1 released.
