speedup seems to behave differently then nvda's espeak #47

hello, I have not looked at the code because I am writing this from my iphone, but I have noticed that I can use espeak at lower rates on my phone compared to the pc. I have just started using the new testflight app by the way, so the speed changing bug is already solved. Either this does not use sonic or maybe it's a different version, but the speedup seems lower quality and consonants are much less understandable at high speeds. Can you shed light on this? Thanks!

I found something else about the speed, if I make it faster, it lowers the pitch.
