I've followed the most logical way to try this, since there is no readme, all I'm doing is running the airplay.py file upon installing all required modules.
I get to the "Starting Server..." part but nothing happens thereafter - I see on my phone that "AirPlay" appears in control center occasionally but when I tap on it, no other receiver is displayed than the iPhone itself.
I know this might be still being developed, just wanted to know if there is a way we can get this to run.
I'm using OSX Yosemite on an XQuartz terminal btw. I understand this might have been intended for linux in the first place, so not sure if that makes any difference.
