Describe the problem you have/What new integration you would like
The Max7219 plugin for 7segment displays is nice and useful, I happen to have a board that looks just right laying around, but it uses two HC595 drivers instead of the Max7219 (which is commonly used in the 8x8 matrix's)
Any chance of adding support for this alternative?
Please describe your use case for this integration and alternatives you've tried:
HC595 driven 7seg displays not supported, would be nice if they were.
