ESP Home Web stuck connecting to ESP 32 WROVER #5190

The problem

This is the page I am stuck at. No error message, it did manage to connect to it beforehand. I tried pressing the IO and RESET buttons together, the board does reset, but then loads the existing sketch that is on it and never connect.
