Improv Serial ESP8266 #5686

The problem

I'm using https://web.esphome.io/ to create a new device. I press prepare for first use, and it installs, but then I get the error An error occurred. Improv Wi-Fi Serial not detected Screenshot 2024-04-07 175403 I can access the device using the ip address image but the dashboard cannot access the device, and i cannot configure it

I'm not using HA, docker or pip, just the web

I have got the same problem. After updating ESPHome to version 2024.5.3 i can see my ESP on dashboard.
