Stopping WiFi inhibits all future BT scans in Arduino. #1863

Hardware:

Board: M5Stack Core Core Installation/update date: 9/7/18 IDE name: Arduino IDE Flash Frequency: 80Mhz Upload Speed: 921600

Description:

I'm testing a BT to web gateway than scans for BT advertising data and posts it to useful places using WiFi. I'd like to test BT scanning performance when WiFi is on and off; this to seek performance tradeoffs. Thing is, once I've connected to WiFi and then attempted to stop WiFi, every subsequent BT scan returns zero objects. That's not right. Am I doing something wrong? Code below; comments and input welcome!
