Quite a bit confused about this board #6

So I have this board up and running, but I must be misunderstanding something about the terminals.

I have a magnetic lock, 12V. My understanding is that I simply connect the + and - wires from the lock to the RPOW terminal and I have a functioning lock. However, I have done so, and the lock is not receiving any power.

There's mention of pads? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to modify the board or ??? Can you help?

In fact, you do need to solder a bead between the correct pads on the underside of the board in order to deliver voltage through the relay to the magnetic lock.
