X11 opened up after export recording?

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest version on Snow Leopard 

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm not a developer just a punter who stumbled across comm skip and thought i 
would give it a 
try, it didn't work at all for me, all the files where installed in the correct 
place. Is there anything 
else I need to do after install to get it working? or just do a recording and 
it should work?
