Etv-comskip not marking commercial due to a comskip error

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Fresh install of Snow Leopard, EyeTV 3.5.4 (6786) on an older model intel 
based Macbookpro 
2. Install latest X11, etv com skip and provided etv com skip applescript.
3. Make a recording.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is that if I go to edit the recording, I would see it marked 
for commercials already and all that would be needed is to compact the video 
and export it for viewing. 

I am not seeing the recordings marked. Running markcomercials from the command 
line gives me a error with com skip error code 3.

Oh that is never fun when errors occur and it can cause a lot of problems. It 
is important to have a back up plan in the instant that this is to happen. It 
is very unfortunate when things like that happen too.
