Please help installing and using etv-comskip #55

Hello, I am new to Macs and even newer to EyeTv. I have a Macbook Pro and a Mac 
mini. I recently purchased the Elgato EyeTv HD and have been recording. All of 
that is working fine, but I have no idea how to begin installing etv-comskip. I 
would be satisfied if I could get in installed and just working to mark the 
commercials. I have seen where folks have gone even farther to actually remove. 
But it looks like scripting is involved.

Is any help available in the form of instructions or possibly an installer 
package? I have seen many posts where folks have this running and have listed 
the scripts they use, but I would have no idea how to perform any Apple 
scripting.

If you could point me toward some help with this is would be awesome.

I'm sorry if I'm posting this in wrong place to ask for help.
