Research Articles in Simplified HTML (RASH) Framework includes a markup language defined as a subset of HTML+RDF for writing scientific articles, and related tools to convert it into different formats, to extract data from it, etc.
The goal would be to provide formal alignment (both in form of an ontology by means of LA-EARMARK and through an XLST) between RASH and the Digital Publishing WAI-ARIA Module (https://rawgit.com/w3c/aria/master/aria/dpub.html).
This issue is strongly connected with #29 and with a possible extension to think for RASH in order to include the attribute "role" to each element (in order to specify additional semantics to it).
