Bug occurs when generating a PDF report which throws an opaque error in the UI and prevents user from navigating back to the sample table correctly.

Likely due to several things including:

incorrect requestWithRefresh call when there are critical errors on the server backend
error in pdf compiler running within async context
error in how the report schema is generated
