Can't confirm this on FF35 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0
), will try on FF36 in a minute...
Edit:
So, yes I can confirm this issue on FF36 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.0
)!
Confirmed, same here Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.0 it seems to be connected to the bug when writing 'abc', it has only suggestions for 'ab' bug [ Last character of query gets chopped off #103 ]
@pascal95 blame @Mozilla for permanently changing there code ;) - Chrome is much more easier!
Not updated since March, but issue is still present in current version (3.0.0.1-signed) with Firefox 41.0.1 (but present since Firefox 36).
Will this get fixed? That's kind of a major issue IMO, always having to correct the autocomplete or browse through the proposed results dropdown menu.
Same here, it's been like this for a long time, it's a very annoying bug.
FIXED for me! FF 41.0.2 + Instantfox 3.0.2
Fixed in the most recent release (3.0.2)
