After upgrading to FF49 and seeing that this add on is now broken. I come to realise that I used this add on more as only a context search tool.
I read this Issue thread here https://github.com/estivo/Instantfox/issues/127 I realise that the suggestion part of this add on is now broken because of the new API but the context search is still working fine.
Perhaps you could turn instantfox into a context menu search only add on or at least give users a way to disable the suggestion/what ever it is instant fox does to the address bar? Because at the moment not only is it not showing suggestion I am not getting no autocomplete at all and just a blank when I type into the Address bar/Awesome Bar.
I and hopefully many other people would prefer this since this is the only context search add on I have found for FF that doesn't go off of the built in search and allows you to add your own.
I understand that it must be hard to need to rework a add on from scratch but I hope at the very least this can be saved as a context search only tool until then.
Context search is broken if you enable Electrolysis (multi-processing) in Firefox, which will be default in the next versions, so I don't think it's worth to extract the context menu search out of the add-on.
