Controlling the editor more when syncing #1197

Allow editor to be "reset" after it has been manually synced
Pause edits in the editor while it is syncing
Debounce syncing the editor so if someone is making multiple changes we just wait for them to be done

Manually tested

Lots of aggressive clicking of backfill and autoDiscover and editing the spec
