Thanks for reporting this error.

it crashed QGIS during last startup

I am trying to reproduce the error, so far without success. I have installed QGIS 3.10.6 -A Coruña on Windows 10, and installed the plugin. I loaded a few layers in a project, and then quit QGIS. I am able to re-start QGIS without error.

So there is the difference of me using 3.10.6 vs yours at 3.10.5 which is possibly the reason I can't reproduce the error.

Maybe the crash is related to a data condition, although I am not convinced CanadianWebServices data would be the cause of a crash at startup of QGIS.

Let's keep this open and see if more information presents itself.

For the record, I have had the extension enabled for some time now (few weeks) and it has opened successfully in the past; although possibly I have missed the warning(?). I also notice that QGIS opens substantially faster now that the extension is disabled - 30 seconds instead of 2 or 3 minutes.
