Introduction and motivation

• Good Well-written introduction and motivation that provides the reader with a very detailed background to help understand the analysis.

• Can be improved 1.There are some grammatical errors and some sentences are difficult to read and understand. The following picture shows some suggestions for improvements. (Other sections also have some grammatical problems, just take Introduction and motivation as an example.) Recommendation: Use Grammarly for checking.

2. I'm not really sure what's the primary question?

Inline code

• Good: The numbers entered with inline R code, very good!

Visualize NA

• Good
  1. Use ·vis_dat` to show NA values distribution clearly.
  2. The figure caption is very detailed, which is well done throughout the report.

• Suggestion Although the above visualization is better, I think it would be more meaningful to know the missing proportion of NA values. We can use vis_miss to get the plot below.

Data descprition

I'm not sure what this point(.) represents, maybe you guys missed the explanation?

Ref format

• Good Use inline reference in the whole report, very nice!

• Can be improved It would be better if they could be formatted in the same way. e.g. all Fig. XX or all Figure XX.

Figure 3.1

• Good The analysis discusses gender differences and data outliers around age 20.

• Can be improved The figure also shows a significant increase in the number of cases for age 40, which is not discussed in the analysis.

Table 3.1&3.2

• Good Use tables to present specific percentages so that the reader has a clear idea of the differences between males and females, and different age groups.

• Can be improved To combine the two tables into one, as shown in the figure below. You can use the datatable for interaction and resort the variables.

• Good Very well formatted table.

• Can be improved (Suggestion from ETC5521 teaching team) It would be better if you could add proportional information.
