Improvement Plans for the original analysis #4

Expanding on the initial analysis for the primary question of “identifying the characteristics of a winning beach volleyball team for both males and females” we identified some additional research questions which in our opinion will allow us to present a more detailed analysis and will help us to bring the analysis to a more complete state.

Part of additional research questions are:

  1. What combination of the players are most successful and have teamed up for the greatest number of matches in both the volleyball circuits?
  2. Who are the most successful players in beach volleyball and how they have evolved over time and their skills pattern?

Apart of the structural changes outlined above we will also include some changes to the initial analysis and the presentation of the report.

  1. Study FIVB and AVP circuits separately so as to present the underline difference between the two circuits.
  2. Improved appearance and proper description for the plots.
  3. Improved data wrangling with focus on reducing dimensions without losing information.
  4. Updating content to provide a comprehensive analysis for the research questions.
  5. Using inline R codes to report the numbers in text.

In additional, we will also explore these questions:

In my first question, considering most players come from USA in AVP circuit and AVP is just held in USA every year, which means the home advantage would not be obvious in this match, so I only take FVIB circuit into account.

Apart from that, we would do some modifications on the structure of the original report. In detail, we would put the second and third questions together as one part, because they are very similar and are explaining the same dimensional question.
